The Internet is a global system through which computer networks are connect millions of people. The system uses the Internet Protocol Suite(TCP/IP) standard rules for data representing. This network carry network of million of private, public , academic, business and government in mode of global scope. This whole concept taken from book. Now I’m try to explain what Internet stand for common technical guys:::
Personally speaking I don’t like this type of concept that I discuss above. According to me Internet stand for “common” network that use by each and every one, ”communication” between global world, ”commercial” which help in research works,”popularity” for good works, “enjoyment” when you feel boring and at last “resources “ which help in study each and every time. In other simple word we can also say ,Internet is a medium to connect through out the world with just a simple click for more details you can search in Google or in wiki for logical explanation.
I’m going in few years back for collecting information or view on birth of Internet.
Concept of Internet had launched in 1969 by Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). At that time Internet became a plaything thing for academic and deface researches, spend more time than a decade in relative obscurity. In 1980 , protocols like IP and TCP came into internet world. Domain name stable in 1987.At last internet birth taken place at 1990.Its has become part of vocabulary.
Now I focus on how Internet moves to this interesting mode. Internet Organization done a this grate job. This organization is a group of 300 service providers are interconnected with Internet. In all 300 services two service providers done a grate job.
[Internet Engineering Steering Group(IESG)]::--is responsible for technical activities and internet standards process.
[Internet Engineering Task Force(IETF)]::--is responsible for evolution of the internet and its technologies. The IETF is divided into eight functional areas. They are: Applications, Internet, Network Management, Operational Requirements, Routing, Security, Transport and User Services.
Now we talk about Future of Internet (FOI). The main purpose of growth of FOI referred to as pillars are:
[Internet by and for people]::--is for sustaining free exchange of ideas. It also provide that means 1)allow the creation of new type of business regardless of their size,domain and technology
2 ) break the barriers/boundary between information producer and consumer.
[Internet of Content and knowledge]::--The internet should support way of managing for knowledge dissemination both at local and global level.
For future internet, there is some predictions for Future Internet::::
1)Audio Web Surfing:-building the web standards and accessibility so that an audience as possible. The importance of accessibility getting the recognition it deserves lately, I think screen readers will soon take a front seat as a common means for surfing for a site for a much broader audience.
2)Web surf on any device:-It means integrate the internet into every device. It’s the equivalent to adding a digital clock to a coffee maker. All this type of things are change interfacing for new opportunities .
3)Input Revisited:-The recent boom in smart phone device has shown us that tiny screens. But according to me all of this going to history in just few months. Google plans to install “InterPlanetary internet protocols” on spacecraft to enable internet access in space. The new approach uses a dely-tolerant networking or Bundle Protocol, which defines blocks of data as a bundles , each contain sufficient data for avoiding interruptions
As Vint Cerf(Computer Scientist) ,at present Google’s Chief internet Evangelist.He explains, “Potentially every spacecraft launched from that time on will be interwoven from a communications point of view. But perhaps more important, when the spacecraft have finished their primary missions, if they are still functionally operable — they have power, computer, communications — they can become nodes in an interplanetary backbone.”
